Ok, another James Bond movie. Will this one live up to it’s name, or it’s a shame? It depends on each person, this is just some though about this movie (spoiler-free, don’t hesitate to read before you actually want to spend your hard-earned money on it)
1- Sony, too many Sony, just like the last one, VAIO and Ericsson everywhere
2- James Bond look more like a brutal assassin than an elegant spy, death and destruction follow his wake ( I miss Pierce Brosnan)
3- He destroyed the second Aston Martin (again, in 5 minutes).
The movie started with Bond being chased around after the event of Casino Royale. The setting is Europe, so you can expect to see Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Land Rover here. So far, this is the first Bond’s movie that is continued from the last movie. Like usual, he managed to escape safe and sound, continue his mission, get laid and kill the bad guys. Is Bond invicible? Forget all the drum and cardbox, it’s for Solid Snake and kiddie, Mr.Bond just walk in without anyone notice him. Seriously, where is the guard? Or the security system in Europe is that bad?
Over all, this movie is not bad, it’s just………normal. All the action scene in this one can be seen in every modern movie. The story is not really interesting, we already know who is the bad guy from the beginning, so, there is no hide-and-seek. It worth $10 for the ticket, but if you expect a better plot, wait for something else, or rent this one when it’s DVD come out. I can give this one 7.5/10
